Andre Allen Roscoe Sr.

Funeral services will be held for Andre, Saturday, March 26th, at 9 am at Grace Baptist Church, 65 Kingsbury St, burial will be at New Pine Grove Cemetery, the family will receive friends at the church from 8 am until the time of service. Mr. Andre Allen Roscoe Sr, 51, of Waterbury, CT, departed into eternal life on Thursday, March 17th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Roscoe was born on August 3rd, 1970 in Waterbury, CT to Arlise J. Roscoe (Waterbury) and the late Albert Minnifield II. He had a strong, kind, and resilient nature that was unmatched and admired due to his good spirit.

His education began in the Waterbury public school system, having attended Wilson Elementary, Wallace Middle, Crosby High School, Stone Academy, and Western Connecticut State University where he studied Business Administration. He was employed at Lee’s Famous Recipe, Walmart, and Macy’s in Cheshire for many years.

His joy was spending time with his family, watching movies, cooking on the grill, playing spades, cracking jokes, watching football (especially Miami Dolphins) games, and listening to music. He was a man of few words, but he was never afraid to say what was on his mind. He will be significantly missed by those who knew him, worked with him, laughed with him, and loved him, especially his family.

His memory is survived by his mother, Arlise J. Roscoe (Waterbury), his sister Pamela D. Roscoe (Maryland), his brother Jerome Minnifield (Waterbury), brother Jason Ferguson, sister Michelle Ferguson, his four children, Amanda M. Roscoe (Waterbury), Andrea A. Roscoe (Washington, DC), Andre Allen Roscoe Jr. (Naugatuck), and Kunetta M. Roscoe (Waterbury), his niece Morgan J. Roscoe, his only grandchild, Laila S. Roscoe-Hill and a multitude of uncles, aunts, cousins, and long-term friends.
