Anthony (Big Nicks) Nichols

A Celebration of Anthony’s life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1oam at Zion Baptist Church, 137 Pearl Street, Waterbury CT. Viewing in Church from 9-10am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.

Anthony (Big Nicks) Nichols age 55, of Waterbury departed this life on Friday, October 27, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Anthony was born on March 18, 1968, in Waterbury, CT to Herbert and the late Annie Sue Davis Nichols of Waterbury.

He received his education in the Waterbury public school district. Anthony was ambitious, courageous, family-oriented, wise, and compassionate. He enjoyed watching sports, taking long walks with Trophy in the park, spending time with his wife, and spending time with his family, and friends.
He had a smile that could brighten up a room, as soon as he entered.
Anthony leaves to mourn his loving wife Monica Ann Woodard- Nichols. Three daughters: Shayla Nichols, Aujanique Nichols, and Tatiana Williams. One son Anthony Nichols Junior. Two step-children: Jasmine Woodard and Cortez Lofton. Six grand children: Sakani Nichols, Le’andrea Williams, Corte’ya Lofton, Core’ya lofton, Promise Woodard, Legend Woodard, Aaliyah Love, and Leah Love.
Four sisters: Daphne Nichols, Dawn Nichols, Carolyn Nichols, and Sandra Dow. Three brothers: Herbert Nichols Junior, Roland Nichols, and Levern Nichols.  A host of nieces and nephews especially, Rhamya Mitchell, Kaimoni Nichols, and Tasha Davis. A host of aunts, especially aunt Jerlene Lee , uncles, cousins, and host of friends.

He was predeceased by his sister Mae Davis and brother Rex Allen Davis.

A Celebration of Anthony’s life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1oam at Zion Baptist Church, 137 Pearl Street, Waterbury CT. Viewing in Church from 9-10am.
