Austin Barry “Pumpkin” Jordan, age 59, of New Haven, entered into eternal life on Monday November 7, 2016 at YNHH. Born on June 30, 1957, the son of the late Murrell Jordan. Cherished brother of Ruth (Anthony Rogers) Jordan, step brother of Jackie and Carol Stovall all of New Haven. Survived by his uncle Austin Jordan Jr.; and aunts Thomasina Minder, and Elizabeth Bennett all of New Haven. Predeceased by1 brother Charles Jordan and sister Muriel Jordan. Also predeceased by grandparents Janie and Austin Jordan. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of Austin’s life will be held on Saturday November 12, 2016 in Colonial, 86 Circular Ave. Hamden at 1pm. Viewing will be in Colonial from 12-1pm. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com.
