During the early morning hours of September 19th, 2022, Catherine Miller Caraballo was called forward to heaven while surrounded by her loving family.

Cathy was born in Waterbury on October 11, 1946, daughter of the late Walter and Josephine (Maringola) Miller. Cathy was well known for her thoughtful and generous nature. She enjoyed spending time baking with her grandchildren, crabbing, lounging by the beach, the delicate scent of lilacs and tiger lilies, grooving to Elvis Presley, and was an exuberant celebrator of Christmas. She was considered a mother to many and was always the first person to reach out a hand to those in need.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Lloyd Hunter; her children, Evelyn Maldonado, Theresa and Terry Gallion, Lisette Caraballo and Jose Fernandez, Seana Hunter, and Kimberly Hunter-Ramirez. Cathy was the proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a wonderful aunt and cousin to multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cathy was predeceased by her parents, brother Anthony Andrzejewski and his wife Mary Ellen, and brother John Miller Andrzywski and his wife Elaine.

Cathy will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to know her.

Funeral services will be held on Monday September 26th, 2022 at 11am at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church located on 59 Main Street, Cheshire, CT. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
