Dante C Elliott, 46, tragically passed away in a trucking
accident while doing what he loved the most on June 2nd, 2022. Dante was born on March 13, 1976 in New Haven, CT to Dawn Elliott and Raymond West. Dante grew up in West Haven, CT where he attended school and discovered many of his passions. Dante loved driving trucks, riding motorcycles and pretty much anything on 2 or more wheels. He was also a big NY Giants fan. Dante was always cracking jokes and everyone he came into contact with immediately liked him. He loved his family more than anything and had the most giving nature. His mother, father, daughter, sister and nieces were his whole life. Dante has truly left a lasting impression on our hearts and will never be forgotten. Dante is survived by his 14 year old daughter; Selena Elliott, His mother, Dawn Elliott, father; Raymond West, sister; Imani Claiborne (Bryan Claiborne), his nieces; Nyshaya, Kenadi and Aliyah; plus a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, life-long friends and a son he loved like his own; Michael King. He was predeceased by his son; Trevon A Sayles, his maternal grandparents; Frederick and Rosemary Elliott and his paternal grandparents; Jesse and Lavara West.

A celebration of Dante’s life will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden CT. Viewing in Colonial from 10-11am. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
