Edward David Hallett 23, was shot and later died at Yale New Haven Hospital on Saturday December 21, 2019. Edward was born on May 20, 1996 and he is the son of Lolita Hallett, he was born in Trenton, New Jersey and relocated in the New Haven, Ct., with his family at the age of five and was educated in the New Haven, School System.

Edward “Boo” as he was affectionately called by his family is survived by his loving mother Lotita Hallett, two sisters, Maryann Hallett and Tiffany Hallett, 2 brothers Robert Hallett and Jermaine Hallett all of New Haven, Ct., 2 aunts Sheila Ford and Beverly Howlett- DeSheilds, 3 uncles Herbert Ford, Tyrone Hall and Allen Hall (Stephanie), 1 Great-aunt Margaret Howlett, Edward is also survived by 5 nieces Stanesha Hallett, Ma’Kenzy Smalls, Bryia and Brielle Hallett and Br’asia Hallett, 4 newphews Robert Whitaker, Jermaine Bailey, Hasson Hallett and Bryon Hallett, 5 Great-nieces Na’Ziaha Tyson, Journi-Storm Hallett, Tiara Robinson, A’mia and Kamani Whitaker and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

Edward is survived by his biological parents Edward Philips and Lisa Lopez, brother Evan Philips, 4 aunts Alberta Clark, Rosetta Davis, Francine Hicks and Annetta Shafer, 3 Uncles Walter Stevens, Larry Lopez and David Lopez.
