Mr. Jamie S. Ward passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 29, 2022 at East Mountain Park in Waterbury, CT. He was the son of Lisa A. Ward of Waterbury and James E. Ware(Stepmother Patricia Ware) of North Carolina. Jamie was educated in the Waterbury Public School System and obtained his G.E.D. J.A. as he was known worked jobs throughout his life Shakers of Kia in the automotive dept. and a sales rep in electronics department at Target was his last job. J.A. was smart and intelligent, he had a smile that lifted spirits and lit up a room, he definitely was a gentle giant. He was a loving father he also enjoyed fishing with his son Jayden as well as playing video games, watching football, basketball, wrestling, Jamie could draw, he was an ace at math as his sister Teisha would say he enjoyed hanging with his buddies and having a beer or 2 or 3 and mostly enjoyed spending time with his family he was a vibe and always made everyone laugh, dance, sing, and share stories. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Besides his parents he leaves to cherish his memory son Jaiden R. Ward, of Watertown, CT. four sisters Teisha Ward of Torrington, CT. Lacreisha Joe, of Waterbury, CT, Kameisha Rafael Saavedra, of Naugatuck, CT., and Jayonda Ware, of North Carolina., four brothers Robert Tremaine Kelly of Waterbury, CT., Lamont Ward, of Kansas, Delton Joe Jr., of Warren, CT., and Jermaine Ward of Washington, CT. Paternal grandmother Ann L. Shepard of Waterbury, CT, and paternal grandmother Mary Ware-Chisholm of Georgia. A host of aunts, uncles, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather Charlie A. Shepard and brother Corey J. Ward. The Ward family would like to open their hearts with a huge extended Thank You to every single family member, co-worker, friend for your thoughtfulness, love and kindness during this difficult time, the donations, calls, texts, visit, hugs, tears, food, drinks, cards, flowers etc. We greatly appreciate you all. And ask for your continuous prayers.
