Jason Kimbell Williams

A celebration of Jason’s life will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 11am at Grace Baptist Church. Viewing in Church from 10 to 11am. Burial to follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. Jason Kimbell aka (JMONEY) Williams 59, husband of Andrea Sparkman Williams passed away unexpectedly at his home Friday, June 28, 2024. He was the son of the late Sandra Faye (Williams) Ruffin and the late Franklin Roosevelt Brown. He was raised since the age of seven by James Frank Ruffin Sr. Jason was born in Brooklyn, New York, coming to Waterbury at an early age he attended Tinker Elementary School, Wallace Middle School ,and graduated from Crosby High School class of 1982. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

He also worked as a coach at Wilby High School and Refereed for various Community Centers. He also worked as a substitute teacher in the Waterbury school system. Jason loved spending time with his family and the kids , and loved taking pictures, he has a picture with just about everybody in Waterbury. He was a die hard Lakers fan aka (KOBE)fan. He loved the Lakers so much he wore the Lakers gear all the time. He was truly the life of every party!! He loved traveling the world with his beautiful wife, Andrea Sparkman Williams by his side.

Jason leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife Andrea , his fatherJames Ruffin Sr., his two daughters Latoya (Antoine) Rouse of South Carolina, Jasmin Williams of Waterbury, three sons, Jordan Williams of North Carolina, Antawuan Schofield of North Carolina, and Ronald Schofield Jr. of Waterbury, his one and only sister Syrette (Bernard) Cooper, and three brothers, James Frank (Shanique) Ruffin Jr. of Florida, Giovanni (Ashia) Tyler of New York and Corey James of New York.

He has four grandchildren Alayah, Nalah, Zaharah, And Ziyah Rouse of South Carolina. He also has three nieces Ebonee Crawford, Brandee and Jahnee Cooper, two nephews Jerome and Kyree Ruffin and host of faithful cousins and faithful friends as well as his Aunt Bea, Auntie Mommy Rea, Auntie Shirlie, Auntie Di and Aunt Wanda and his Uncles Archie and Lee Williams. He’s predeceased by his matural and paternal Grandparents.
