A celebration of John’s life will be held on Thursday October 14, 2021 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue Hamden, Ct. Viewing in Colonial from 10-11am. John Fulton Jr. (80) also known as “Finley and/or Johnny” of New Haven, Connecticut passed away September 28, 2021 after a long illness.

John was born on September 23, 1941, in Georgia to the late Bertha Fulton and John Fulton Sr. He was predeceased by his brother Paul Fulton.

John graduated from Nott Terrace High School in Schenectady, New York. Upon graduating he enlisted in the United State Army. After serving his country, John began working for the Olin Corporation and fell in love and married the late Mattie Fulton. Together, they raised seven children: Gregory Clark, Alan Clark, Yolanda Franklin, James Clark, the late Reginald Clark, Rhonye Bowery, and John Fulton III.

John enjoyed various sports, playing cards, fishing, and an occasional adult beverage.

John leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and an endearing companion, Almenia Jackson.
