It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Karen Davis. Karen passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at 2:00am on August 3, 2022 at the early age of 57, following a lengthy battle with Cancer. Karen was an awesome fighter, who fault to the very end. Now she is resting in the arms of Jesus.
Karen Davis was born on May 18, 1965 and raised in Jamaica Queens, NY. Karen later moved to New Britain, Ct in 2003 and was employed by Apple Rehabilitation as a nurse in Avon, Ct. She was kind and compassionate to all, and was loved and requested by her patients. She loved being active in her church, taking long walks in the park, going to the movies and being surrounded by her family, especially her husband, daughter, son,and grandchildren. Karen was a faithful church member and she loved participating in her prayer group. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 91:1-16. Karen was very quiet, kind, loving and a women of strong faith.
Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Henry R. Davis of eighteen years. Her Daughter, Kyanna Johnson-Ewart (Auressa) Of Brooklyn, NY Her son: Henry Haylett(Crystal) of New Britain, Ct. One sister: Theresa Ware(Duane)of Newburgh, NY. One Brothers: Jerry Currin (Keisha) of Jamaica Queens, NY.
Nieces Monique Puckering, Shavonne, Asia, and Neaveh Smith, Allison White, Steve Padilla, Barbara Lawrence , Danny Richardson, and Larry Patterson, Two grandchildren: Isaiah, Henry Haylett4th. Three nieces: Janay, Jazmin Ware, and Monique Currin. One great nephew: Jabari Banderhall. Her loving mother-in-law Barbra Davis of North Carolina, Three sisters-in-laws: Denise, Danielle Davis of NY, Sherry Patterson of North Carolina and a host of aunts, uncle other relatives and her best Friend: KieshaWest Brown.
She was predeceased by her loving parents: Robert CurrinSr. and Martha Alston Currin. Father-law, Henry Davis Sr. Onebrother: Robert Currin Jr. and his wife Leola Currin.
