Kathleen Edwards affectionately known to some as “Mopsy” took her eternal rest on January 31, 2024. Kathy was born on November 13, 1974 in New Haven Connecticut to Lillian Rawls and Bruce Edwards Sr. Kathy attended New Haven Public School Systems. Kathy was a long time employee of the Clifton house, where she enjoyed being a big help to the elderly. Kathy had such a big laugh & voice you knew it was her laughing or talking before she even entered the room. She loved to cut on people and boy did she have a comeback for everything. Nobody was exempt when it came to the jokes. Kathy didn’t have any biological children but her fur baby Shannon was just that to her. If you seen Kathy better believe you seen Shannon. She loved to spoil her baby even teaching Shannon how to play parts of movies during the pandemic such as cops and robbers to how to play dead. Kathy later took on the responsibility of taking great care of her mother being by her side to the very end. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her fur baby Shannon, long time companion Greg, 4 brothers Robert Rawls, Timothy Rawls (Timprea), Joseph Rawls & Keith Spencer & 1 Sister Robyn Davis & cousins who were just as close as siblings to her (The Edwards Clan) her nieces, nephews & a host of other family & friends.
Kathy was predeceased by her mother mother Lillian Rawls & Father Bruce Edwards Sr, both of her Maternal grandmothers whom she adored Eva C Taylor & Arlease Edwards & her brother Bruce Edwards Jr.
Kathy was loved by many and will be missed by the same!
