I am very sad to hear of Mike’s passing, I have known Mike for over 10 years and Mary Ellen for over 30. Mike was a great person and very professional, most every time we spoke the conservation lead to Mary Ellen. His love and devotion for her came through in those calls and he was going above and beyond to care for her. He was taken to soon, my deepest sympathies to his family, he will be missed

I served with Mike on the Board of Governers, meetings were held at his house when he was president. When the meeting was over, I would chat with Mike and Mary Ellen. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make the wake, so I'm sending my sincere condolences and prayers for the family. Sorry you were taken so soon. RIP Mike. Laura J. Bertrand

We met Mike over 20 years when he came into Maryellens life. We will always remember our trips together, AC, ME and of course the racetracks. Our visit to the lake sitting on the deck talking with the occasional bourbon or a glass of his special wines. His help at our annual Rib Contest, he was our go to numbers man. We had so many laughs in the visits to Florida, times that will be cherished. Mike had a big heart and would help any friend in need. We will miss you buddy, till we meet again. We will bring the bourbon!

I lived in CT a majority of my life. Having been involved with the Security Industry I met Mike and Mary Ellen many years ago and I was friends with both. Mike was a great person and was the kind of guy that would go out of his way for anyone, especially friends and family. If Mike shook your hand that was a done deal, he was from the old school where his word and hand shake was his bond. There aren't many like Mike left in this world and he left this world too early. RIP Mike, you deserve a rest. Jim Stankevich
