We have lost the matriarch of the family. "Aunt Sister" as we affectionally call her here down south. She will be missed greatly. I am so sorry I did not attend her homegoing services in person due to Covid. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Thanks for sharing via Zoom. I love you all and will be checking on you. Aunt Sister's love, life lessons and memories will live on. She would give her honest opinion on things. She was loving, out spoken, honest, respectful, bougie but humble!!! She did not hold back. She was the kind of mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, friend that would tell you what you NEEDED to hear, not what you WANTED to hear. She was encouraging, inspirational, funny and wise. She always checked on me to make sure I was not settling. Her nickname was fitting... "Sister". She was one of my grandmother's older sisters. When she would come home, the siblings already knew she was going to set them straight and out of love and respect, everyone obliged. I love her so much and I am so grateful for the times we had. Rest in peace aunt Sister. -Pokey

My heartfelt condolences and love go forth to my cousins and their family, Veronica, Danny, Jackie and Hope. Aunt Pauline was strong and beautiful woman. Her smile and demeaner was a welcoming joy to behold. When she spoke you listen her integrity was extraordinary. She always was able to make things plain when things were hard.God bless your mother with many virtues that cannot be counted and so many times I\'ve had talks with her it was a breathe of fresh air to listen to her wisdom. May the everlasting love we share in Christ Jesus keeps us and strengthen you and I as we mourn the loss of a beloved and gentle enduring woman your Mom and my Aunt Pauline M Roscoe. There are times of sorrow and tears, there are times of happiness we shared over the years, there are times we may stumble and fall, but note my dear cousins God\'s love is with us all. My love and prayers be with in this heartfelt time.
