Stephen Sherrod of 40 Briarwood Lane, Branford, Connecticut departed this life on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Stephen was born on February 14, 1963 in New Haven, Connecticut. He was a 1980 graduate of Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven, Connecticut, attended Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts and was a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. Stephen also served as a member of the United States Army.

He was employed for many years at AAA in Hamden, Connecticut in Sales and Customer Service and spent his earlier years in other positions. Stephen had a passion for football, baseball and many other sports. He spent his spare time traveling to professional sporting events in Pittsburg, New York and Boston. In addition, he dedicated time volunteering for the Special Olympics. He was a kind, intelligent, well-read man. Stephen was a blessing to his family and generous to many. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother Mary Sherrod, three brothers, Keith Sherrod, Dennis Sherrod and Frank Sherrod Jr. (Grace), two sisters, Ramona Sherrod and Sharon Sherrod-King, Katherine Lloyd (aunt), Joseph Brown (uncle), three nieces, Shabrell Sherrod, Felicia King and Kaliah Sherrod, three nephews, Jarrett Sherrod, Brandon King and Keshawn Sherrod, two great nephews, a great niece and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

Stephen was predeceased by his father, Frank Sherrod Sr.
