Tricia Renee Parker, 51, born to the late Willie Arthur and Gracie Mae Parker, on September 12, 1970, in Waterbury, CT, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest with the Lord.

Tricia was a graduate of Wilby High School class of 1988 and went on to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Post University and was currently working towards completing Graduate studies in Human Services from Post University.

Tricia was devoted and passionate with helping others and always extended herself to anyone in need. Her generosity and willingness to give all of herself made any environment better. Tricia worked many years in the human services field, with her most recent employment over the past year at Community Residences Incorporated.

Tricia was a loving, kind, and generous soul, who was the heartbeat of our family. Her son meant the world to her and she prided herself on being the best “Nana” ever to her grandsons who adored her. Tricia loved the Lord and was a member of Zion Baptist Church. She also fellowshipped in NA and AA.

Tricia was an excellent cook and everyone looked forward to her exceptional culinary skills at cookouts, holidays, and family gatherings. Her infectious laughter and beautiful smile will surely be missed. Tricia loved to travel and this past summer vacationed with her son, his family, nieces and nephew at Walt Disney in Florida. Her favorite sayings were, “Oh well”, “Life is too short.” Tricia you were our everything and left us way too soon.

Besides her loving mother, Tricia is survived by her only beloved son Damien Anthony Parker, his life partner Leanne Farley and two precious grandsons: Makai-James and Mason-Avery Parker; Siblings: Willie A. Parker (Teresa), Valerie C. (Parker) Connors (Alonso), Dinah H. (Parker) Ralph, Clinton N. Parker, Gracie M. Parker – all of Waterbury, and Maurice D. Parker – North Carolina; Uncles: Claude L.
